Estate Planning

For most people, a standard estate plan is sufficient.  This consists of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.  Standard Wills often contain testamentary trusts for children or other beneficiaries.  I take the time to discuss my client’s situation thoroughly, understand my client’s goals and desires, and guide my client through the process of developing the right plan.

If there is a business, a complex asset profile or significant wealth, I may recommend different or additional planning techniques.  Also, the discussion may expand into asset protection planning.

I communicate in plain English, describing complicated concepts in laymen’s terms.  I answer questions thoughtfully, with responses that are comprehensive yet easy to digest.  Once an estate plan is decided, I produce draft documents promptly.  I have the personnel to coordinate full execution and notarization of the final documents at my office.
